    M.D., M.B.A. is the Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois.
  • Michael Wilson (Learn More)
    Michael Wilson, MD PhD FAAEM FACEP Dr. Wilson is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine, and is an Associate Professor (tenured) in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He serves as the current Chair of the Coalition on Psychiatric Emergencies (coalitiononpsychiatricemergencies.org), Secretary of the Board of Directors for the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry (www.emergencypsychiatry.org), and as Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Emergency Medicine (www.jem-journal.com). Clinically, he serves as the emergency department lead for neurological emergencies, psychiatric emergencies, and substance use disorders. Dr. Wilson’s research in behavioral emergencies and substance use disorders have been cited more than 4500 times (h-index 33), and he has written more than 90 peer-reviewed articles, 30 book chapters, and 4 edited books. His work has been supported by numerous federal and private grants, and has been recognized as innovative by the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (https://afsp.org/story/national-suicide-prevention-award-honors-leaders-of-first-known-trial-showing-tha).
  • Gary Vilke, M.D. (Learn More)
    Dr. Vilke, is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine. He serves as the vice chair of clinical operations for emergency medicine and oversees three emergency departments and serves as the medical director for risk management for UCSD Health. He has 300 peer reviewed publications and has written two textbooks and over 80 textbook chapters and has mentored over 200 students, residents, fellows and faculty.
