She retired in 2022 after 32 years of practice as fulltime faculty, first at the University of Pittsburgh, then AHN. She has taught trainees at all levels throughout her career. While she was Division Director at AHN, Dr Wasko oversaw the successful initiation of a fellowship training program to help address the national shortage of rheumatologists. As a clinician scientist, she has had external funding from the NIH, American Heart Association and the Arthritis Foundation to study the risk factors of cardiovascular disease in rheumatoid arthritis. She directed numerous clinical trials evaluating new biologic agents for the treatment of RA. Currently she is preparing to begin parttime rheumatology work at a Federally Qualified Health Center in North Carolina near her hometown. She and her husband will be moving there from Pittsburgh in early 2024.

We get it.  Some people are ready to travel and some people are not.  The choice should be yours. At CME Seminars, all of our seminars are both live events and streamed as a webinar.  You have your choice to attend using either option.  We offer that same choice to our speakers.  If a speaker attends remotely, the session will still be live and in real time. When you sign up for a seminar, you can choose the other option if you change your mind and receive a no hassle refund or upcharge for the difference in ticket price. (May be subject to a $50 cancellation processing fee.)

Our conference sessions are held 1/2 days from 8:00 am to 12:20 pm to allow you time to Learn.Relax.Recharge.
